2.5” drop spindles installed. 165r15 tires rub… going to either a 155/60r15 or a 145r15. I’m keeping the factory 4.5” wheels so I’m a bit limited. Don’t have the time or money to narrow the beam. Already priced the speedo recalibration @ $160 from North Hollywood Speedo.
After seeing lots of cars with 145R15 at the “Classic”; and finding out that with my setup they still rub, I’ve decided to go with 155/60R15 tires up front.
Having so much fun driving, I forgot to update you guys. Here’s a pic from a multi club cruise on Tuesday. More pics coming of the new exhaust and MSD installed. Running sweet now!

Here’s another one from the cruise in SD. If I can’t find a decent bus after the Ghia gets a little further along. I’ll start looking for a “Thing” Type 181. That’ll be a good one for my little lady to get into before I build her Manx style dune buggy.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Been slammed at work, moving, and working on the car. Good news is, I’m back in the Ghia as a daily driver! Gas is only slightly better than my truck but, nothing beats a slow cruise home on a beautiful day in an old car.
