A sweet ride
I took the Ghia out today for the first time after re-gapping the plugs, it’s running great now! Everything about it is better! I’ll find a big hill to drive up a couple times to seat the rings and then I’ll take a cruise down the coast to San Diego.

A little drive..
Took the Ghia out to get some miles on the engine so I could finish the break in process. Put a hundred miles on her over a few days, then on my way home on the last day, she suddenly lost power. Pulled the plugs and read them… A couple good looking sparks and a slightly lean one… So I adjusted the valves, all looked good. My compression tester doesn’t fit these heads so I’ll check...

So once again its been too long since I’ve posted anything. Got some pics coming soon. Cam went flat in the Ghia so I’ll be doing an engine rebuild series once i get the cash together for parts. Taking the chance to UPGRADE! Be back up soon.

After jetting the carbs, they’re running a lot smoother (Reamed the Idle Jets). Been driving around with them for about a week and I’ve noticed a great difference in her road manner. She idles a lot smoother and overall performance seems better. I do still have a “flat spot” coming off the line but, I think with a few more adjustments I’ll be able to lose that as...

Broke an adjustong screw while doing a valve adjustment today. I may take this oppurtunity to upgrade my rockers.
